Phát Biểu Buổi Ra Mắt Sách ” CHẾ BỒNG NGA : ANH HÙNG CHIÊM QUỐC”. Ngày 7 tháng 8 năm 2011 tại SACRAMENTO.

Trên dãi đất miền Trung Việt Nam ngày nay, xưa kia từng có một Quốc Gia độc lập, phú cường, trải dài lãnh thổ từ Quảng Bình đến vùng cực bắc tỉnh Long Khánh. Lãnh thổ nước này còn mở rộng về phía Tây đến sáu tỉnh Cao Nguyên Trung phần Việt Nam như Daklak, Kontum, Pleiku, Phú Bổn….

Đó là Vương Quốc Champa tức Chiêm Thành gồm nhiều dân tộc như: Chăm, Rhade, Koho, Chru, Raglai, Mạ….

 

Vương Quốc Chiêm Thành cổ là một tổ chức nhà nước liên bang gồm 5 tiểu vương quốc có chủ quyền riêng: Inrapura ( Bình Trị Thiên), Amaravati (Quảng Nam, Quảng Ngãi), Vijaya (Bình Định), Kauthara ( Phú Yên, Khánh Hòa) và Panduranga ( Ninh Thuận, Bình Thuận)

Vương Quốc Chiêm Thành bị xóa tên vĩnh viễn trên bản đồ thế giới vào năm 1832 sau cuộc Nam Tiến tàn khốc, của Đại Việt thời vua Mênh Mạng.

 

Dân Tộc Chiêm Thành chịu ảnh hưởng sâu đậm văn hóa Ấn Độ, đã dựng nên một đất nước hùng cường sáng lạn một thời vang danh ở khu vực Đông Nam Á. Nó có nền kiến trúc rực rỡ với các đền tháp nguy nga đồ sộ mà giờ đây chỉ còn là những phế tích hoang tàn nằm rải rác tại các tỉnh Thừa Thiên Huế, Quảng Nam, Quảng Ngãi, Phú Yên, Khánh Hòa, Ninh Thuận, Bình Thuận, Daklak và Gia Lai.

Điểm lại vài nét sơ lược của lịch sử non nước Chiêm Thành, lòng tôi không khỏi bùi ngùi thương tiếc một thời vàng son đã mất! Nhưng càng bùi ngùi hơn khi thấy rằng lich sử Vương Quốc Chiêm Thành không được chánh sử Việt Nam cũng như các sử gia Việt Nam đương đại khai triển một cách đầy đủ, vô tư và trung thực. Có chăng chỉ là những nhà nghiên cứu nước ngoài như Maspero, GS. Lafont và nhóm học giả thuộc trường Viễn Đông Bác Cổ Pháp.

 

Mãi về sau này mới thấy một số học giả Việt Nam nghiên cứu Champa học bắt đầu thổi hồn Chăm vào các bài viết nghiên cứu của mình, như Tiến Sĩ dân tộc học Nguyễn Văn Huy, Giáo Sư Thái Văn Kiểm, nhà nghiên cứu Hồ Trung Tú và một vài học giả khác. Riêng những nhà nghiên cứu gốc người Chăm như Tiến Sĩ Po Dharma, nhà thơ văn Inrasara, Giáo Sư Nguyễn Văn Tỷ, học giả Nara tức Ngụy Văn Nhuận thì khỏi nói…. họ đã là những chiến sĩ văn hóa rồi!

Gẩn đây nhất và ngay tại thành phố Sacramento này, xuất hiện mốt số nhà chuyên khảo Chăm học, như nhà văn Nhật Thịnh, và nhất là nhà nghiên cứu Nguyễn Ngọc Danh đã góp phần phổ biến Văn Hóa Lịch Sử Champa với tấm lòng rộng mở cùng niềm đam mê đáng trang trọng. Và nổi bật hơn là nhà văn Ngô Viết Trọng đã viết nhiều về dân tộc Chiêm Thành dưới dạng thể tiểu thuyết lịch sử.

Hôm nay, sách tiểu thuyết lịch sử ” CHẾ BỒNG NGA: Anh Hùng Chiêm Quốc” của ông đang được ra mắt quí vị. Chúng tôi rất hân hạnh và vui mừng xin phát biểu vài cảm nghĩ chân thành như sau.

Trước hết nhà văn Ngô Viết Trọng ghi tựa đề quyển sách : ” Chế Bồng Nga: Anh Hùng Chiêm Quốc” là một chọn lựa mà tôi cho là dũng cảm bởi vì trong nền văn học Việt Nam xưa nay hiếm thấy có sự diễn cảm tương tự. Chẳng hạn như vua Chiêm Thành Chế Mân xưa kia là đồng minh quyết tử của nhà vua Trần Nhân Tôn trong thế liên kết chống giặc ngoại xâm Mông Cổ. Chính vua Chế Mân đầy mưu lược đã dũng cảm đánh thắng đoàn quân xâm lược Mông Cổ hung hãn ngay trên đất nước Chiêm Thành. Chiến thắng lẫy lừng này góp phần hữu hiệu ngăn chặn họa xâm lược bạo tàn của quân viễn chinh Mông Cổ nhắm vào Đại Việt. Có lẽ đó là một trong những lý do Thái Thượng Hoàng Trần Nhân Tôn đã nhiệt tình hứa gã Công Chúa Huyền Trân cho vua Chế Mân. Thế nhưng có sử sách Việt Nam nào gọi Chế Mân là anh hùng Chiêm Quốc đâu!!!

 

Xuyên suốt quyển tiểu thuyết, mỗi khi đề cập đến các diễn biến lịch sử dân tộc Chiêm Thành, nhà văn Ngô Viết Trọng đã trình bày một cách trung thực, khách quan không chút định kiến dân tộc mà có khi còn mang nặng lòng thương cảm nữa là đằng khác. Xin nghe lại lời chia sẻ chân tình này của ông ở phần dẫn nhập quyển sách: ” Không ngờ cuộc đời của một vị vua anh hùng ngang dọc một thời lại kết thúc đau đớn chỉ vì một sơ xuất nhỏ! Ông đã không thực hiện được ước nguyện. Nếu Chế Bồng Nga cẩn thận hơn một chút, không biết cục diện khu vực Đông Nam Á ngày nay sẽ ra thế nào? Phải chăng đó là sự dàn xếp của định mệnh.”

Thưa quí vị:

Tuy xây dựng một thể loại tiểu thuyết nhưng nhà văn Ngô Viết Trọng luôn sâu sát với thực tế lịch sử. Từ bố cục chặt chẽ, từ diễn tiến tâm lý nhân vật được trình bày khúc chiết, lô gic, bằng một văn chương bình dị nhưng rõ ràng, ông đã dẫn dắt độc giả vào cuộc, đi từ thích thú này đến thích thú khác.

Cuối cùng tôi xin mạn phép ghi nhận rằng tác phẩm” Chế Bồng Nga: Anh Hùng Chiêm Quốc” là một đóng góp bổ sung tuy nhỏ nhưng cần thiết cho nền sử học Việt Nam thường đồng hành với nền Champa học. Ngoài ra tôi cũng hy vọng rằng tác phẩm lch sử này sẽ góp phần tích cực củng cố tình nghĩa anh em giữa hai dân tộc Việt – Chiêm trong đại gia đình Việt Nam thân yêu của chúng ta.

Nói tóm lại, tác phẩm này tuy chưa hoàn hảo về một số mặt ( như thiếu vắng yếu tố nhân văn, chưa phản ánh đầy đủ nét tập tục đặc thù Chăm), song nó là một tác phẩm rất giá trị đề cập đến lịch sử Chiêm Thành như là một bộ phận không thể tách rời lịch sử Việt Nam. Nó cũng là tiền đề cho các sáng tác hoàn chỉnh hơn, giá trị hơn của các thế hệ mai sau viết về văn hóa lịch sử Champa.

 

Qua những cảm nhận nói trên, tôi xin hoan hỉ giới thiệu quyển tiểu thuyết lich sử ” Chế Bồng Nga: Anh Hùng Chiêm Quốc” đến mọi giới độc giả Champa trên toàn thế giới cũng như quí vị độc giả yêu quí văn hóa lịch sử Chiêm Thành.
